Had a look at the menu of Restaurante Campomar (in the Campomar hotel) out of curiosity expecting the beachfront... read more Visited Playa de la Arena for a beach day out. Had a look at the menu of Restaurante Campomar (in the Campomar hotel) out of curiosity expecting the beachfront location to command high prices. We were surprised. We booked a paella lunch for 6 people...for a couple of hours later at €11 a head. They were very helpful in making the reservation and service excellent during meal. We had a Paella de Mariscos which was really tasty, huge amount of seafood in too; mussels, clams, calamari, prawns, crayfish. It came to the table in a huge pan as is the tradition. Quantity plentiful. Pleasant terrace overlooking beach but with shade. Certainly made our day a good one in this location. Not sure what the fish is like, but can recommend on the basis of paella!
