Mcdonald's - Arnprior

I can't understand how this franchise remains so popular. I haven't been here in years, and now I remember why I stopped coming. The food is truly disappointing; the burger doesn't even resemble a proper burger, and the fries were unappetizing. Even the apple pie tasted bad. The only thing that was decent was the Coke. The restaurant itself was incredibly dirty, with overflowing trash cans and garbage stacked high. I also noticed that no one in the food prep area was wearing hair nets. I would not recommend McDonald's at all, especially this location. If you're looking for a better option, try A&W—better burgers, fries, and service, plus a much cleaner environment. I will also be contacting the local health department about the issues I've mentioned.

The tables inside are acceptable. Half the time, my order is incorrect, but that’s to be expected at McDonald's. However, they are really friendly about remaking or replacing items. Recently, I've noticed that the drinks have a strange taste, so I’ve stopped going.

The staff here are incredibly friendly, but it’s evident that there aren’t enough of them. The food takes a long time to arrive, even when there aren’t many customers. The owner might want to consider improving working conditions—such as pay and benefits—to attract a sufficient number of employees. As for the food, it's similar to what you’d find at any other McDonald's—good, but nothing out of the ordinary.

If i could give these guys a 0 stars i would. Stopped here for a quick bite, ordered through the app to make it quicker while we only had a couple extra minutes to stop and get something. They messed up our entire order and asked us to park and wait for our new food. That’s fine. But 25 minutes later and there is still no food? This is extremely frustrating as now we are extremely late for our event we had.

If you're looking to wait 5 years for your food then this is the place! Clueless staff. Would not recommend.
