The ice cream is very good. Only one locally made selection (Tracey's) but if you stick with that choice you won't be disappointed. What keeps it from 5 stars is that I would have liked more selection and also more locally made brands. Also its...more expensive than The Daily Scoop in Almonte and you get less. Still I was impressed with the quality. I had maple walnut and butter pecan. View all feedback.
Scoops serves yummy, high-quality ice cream in a myriad of flavors. It is a summer stopover for tourists and people bound for the cottage. Outside, there is a shady sitting area for those who want to savor their treat.
While Scoops has good ice cream it is still Just Neilson Dairy's premium. They would have SPECTACULAR ice cream if they bought from a local supplier called Tracy's. It is a much better ice cream by far. Creamier and tastier. And IT'S LOCAL.
Great ice cream in the nice little town of Pakenham. Visit the 5 span bridge and the General Store too.
