Both the... read more It has been nearly two years since my last visit to The Vale, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the pub continues to operate as it always has. Both the staff and patrons remain mindful of COVID-19, which made me feel relatively safe. The selection of well-maintained ales is great, and CAMRA cards are accepted. The food is nicely cooked, and the popular carvery is still in operation. I will definitely be returning!
