Do NOT be put off by the rustic surroundings this is a real treat of a place. Fish so fresh you can taste the sea, beer and soft drinks to quench thirsts, and lovely service from the very genial hostess. A gem of a local business (and a crazy bargain! .
This place is a hidden gem in Arniston. Was looking for the perfect anniversary restaurant date and pulled up in small homey area of Arniston wasn't immediately impressed but once I set foot on the door step of this amazing place it was just wonderful from there lekker fish, lekker calamari, lekker Greek salad and lekker chips and it was sooooo quite I just literally couldn't get enough of how chilled and pretty everything was I even got to buy a few pot plants
Friendly warm hearted Mien running her own business from home.Equipped with everything one needs.Fresh from the sea fish and other seafood dishes;traditional curried fish home made baked bread and moer koffie served by the owner herself
Unassuming wholesome hosts. Miens and her husband made I feel right at home. They regaled us with their local knowledge stories of bygone days. The seafood which we ordered was the best we’ve had in years.Fresh well prepared. So good in fact we ordered other items on the menu to take home as we were leaving Arniston. We will most certainly be back will take friends along!
Mien certainly knows how to cook a delicious meal! Fabulous breakfasts and fish dishes!
