I was pleasantly surprised how friendly and professional the staff were in Manor. It is clear that there has been a lot of know-how and care in this restaurant and I really enjoyed my experience. The menu seems to integrate a lot of local products from Northern NSW, so I recommend Manor for a taste of the region. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Manor At Cotswold Gardens:
Nice setting and a 1800's heritage building decor and good warm service. We had scallop and lamb pastilla for entrée and they were both well presented and nice in flavour but we felt the main dishes (lamb shank and fillet) were less than average as it was both presented and tasted like a overpriced pub dish. We expected the dishes to be little more refined than that for that price point. View all feedback.
The bar and the restaurant enjoyed very much. Nice cozy feeling. Meal preparation took time, but was worth waiting.
Had the most amazing night. Warm beef salad and chicken mains was delicious, best food in Armidale. The staff were super friendly and they made the most amazing cocktails. Thank you for a lovely night, will be back.
Good service. Lovely focus on local wines and distillers. Food was simple fare done really well. Arancini for entree was tasty and balanced with pickled onion. The steak was cooked perfectly and the pork cutlet was faultless, moist and tender. The desserts needed work though. The salted caramel cheesecake was tasty but let down by the pairing with commercially made icecream. And the keylime pie was sadly lacking in lime, and the base didn't work. The floss garnish however was exceptionally soft and gorgeous. Also, a questionable choice to turn the heaters on and serve iced water.
Great food and great service. Good variety of dishes, nice atmosphere and the staff were spot on with service
