The Railway Hotel is by far the best Hotel to dine at in Armidale. Their meals come out quickly, they have a wide variety of meals to choose from and they are reasonably priced. Their customer service is outstanding. The beer garden is fantastic and great for parties. We dine there a couple of times a month and are never disappointed. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Railway Hotel Armidale & 1879 Bistro:
- aauling. wait for the table. hr wait for the meal, mins for the mins for the then the next meal went to another table. After we complained, we were offered for the next visit. we also paid for maish potatoes, but were only told after the meal, there were none. the service was terrible. the manager is incapable. never again.
My husband and I had a fabulous meal, food was second to none. We then stayed on for a few schooners and had great craic (irish for fun) with the staff and locals and want to say a big thank you to Chelle (hope I spelt name right) who kindly brought us back to our digs

The food was AMAZEBALLS!!!! Definitely eating here again if in Armidale again. The staff were lovely and even though it was busy the food came out quickly and the tables clean!
We just have a birthday bash for 40 pax and the Beer Garden is the best ever venue. If you want a child friendly, private and great place to have fun. Railway Hotel is the place to be.The staffs is second to none. I cannot thank enough how much you look after US! Definitely I'll recommend you to my friends.
