LanTing Japanese Restaurant - Armidale

Delicious japaner with a talented chef- pure entertainment to watch. recommend to the bark teppanaki and roasted rice cooked on the hot plate was a look to see. a real fund, hidden in the suburban shopping center.

Delicious Japanese cuisine hidden in a quiet part of armidale. we had a Teppanyaki menu that was excellent. the chef and the staff are beautiful and there is a good choice of weeping and beer.

Great eating, really good selection of teppanyaki and cooking house style. If that were in our opposite canberra, we would eat here all the time.

Some of the reviews talk about hibachi style cooking at the table....they only have one table for this (seats four or five) and they cook all the food on it, so if you're looking for traditional hibachi, this is not the place. We had chicken...fried rice, excellent but portion was small (filled a lunch plate), the eel bowl was excellent, and the grilled chicken bowl was excellent. We also had the pork dumplings, average, and the gyoza was good. We sat outdoors and the flies were bad. Inside seating is limited, and the doors and walls are open so it's not completely inside, but it is covered and shaded. Service was good, beer selection was decent.

Absolutely scrumptious Japanese food. Extensive menu selection. Amazing teppanyaki. Excellent customer service. Highly recommended.
