Amazing food and friendly atmosphere! We come here nearly every year on holiday and it's always at it's best, with really tasty food! Food was absolutely flawless. Service was top notch, smartly dressed. 12oz steak was done nicely. Sorry to the kid, watch me ate the toffee sticky pudding, didn't disappoint one bit whilst he smelt how nice it was. No skinny fries on menu.I asked then for lattes fries but none either. Just Chunky chips! Not everyone likes Chunky chips. Just had to have a burger with no chips.. was disappointed Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have visited this restaurant multiple times and have always been impressed. The friendly staff greeted us warmly and explained the menu well. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous, all at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this stylish hotel restaurant.
We are fortunate to have Rices as our neighborhood restaurant, as the food and service are consistently excellent. My husband and I went there to celebrate my birthday, and the food was delicious as usual. I highly recommend it.
We were a large group. Gotta say it was a heck of a disappointment with the only five star parts the welcome from the staff and the pleasant ambiance. The food was poor to awful. The overall consensus was it wasn’t worth it quality v cost. I had a vegetable curry and boiled rice. It was a Chinese style curry sauce supermarket bought and to add insult to injury this was overpriced at £12. The predominant vegetable was broccoli and not much else. It was the worst meal I’ve had in a few years. Those who had pizzas in our group disliked them as both said what they each got was doughy and again they felt factory made, bought in bases with each costing a rip off £15. I could go on to include the hair in the food and the chipped pint beer glass (chipped glass can happen anywhere) and our relief was that our guest didn’t get a cut, and mention a bit of discount for the unwanted hair and broken glass and that they were happy with us bringing a brought in ‘cut it yourself’ birthday cake, but all in all the food was poor to near average and all of it way overpriced for what was on our plates. The coffees were good mind. It’s off our list. If you are thinking of a meal out I recommend Sinton’s (it was our first choice and closed on this night) or Fitzpatricks while each is a bit more expensive (Sinton’s is near same price and their red curry is the best I’ve tasted outside a Thai restaurant) the food quality is far and away superior. A real shame about Rice’s as it was so good from memory.
A lovely experience, friendly and welcoming staff who couldn't do enough. Great food, we will be back!
Popped in on way home from hospital visit with mum and daughter, not my first visit and iv never been disappointed.ataff always so helpful and friendly and food was delicious as always ,mum cleaned her plate to the last pea

Easy 5 stars steak and sides were top class. as good as me. the cheesecake is ineffective. large square
We enjoyed a very good lunch. my steak sandwich, ordered medium rare was absolutely perfect and was as good a steak as I had in many of the day. I have not considered recommending rice’s.
Omg the service was amazing both the girl. Think her name is Carla. And Terry both made our celebratey lunch even more delightful and food was delicious
Had a meal here on Sunday with my siblings 11 of us, there was a very good selection on the menu of appetizers and main courses, wll presented, and could not mistake the service, the restaurant is a little dated could with a envelope, but besides the quite pleasant experience.
