KFC - Armagh
KFC
Description
In a recent dining experience at a local KFC in Northern Ireland, diners reported a range of frustrating encounters that left much to be desired. Cold food, unwelcoming staff, and questionable hygiene standards dominated the reviews. Complaints included difficulty receiving cutlery, improperly cooked chicken, and rude service from employees. Some patrons remarked on the inconsistency of meal quality and portion sizes, while a few noted fleeting moments of good service amidst the chaos. This mixed bag of experiences highlights the urgent need for improvement in both customer care and food preparation at this fast-food staple.

I had trouble understanding the person taking my order. It was frustrating that they couldn't get my order right - I asked for baked beans, not gravy!
The staff at the restaurant were rude and took my receipt without any explanation. A large, black male employee did not speak to me and served me undercooked chicken, then accused me of ordering it. He also asked me if I was getting married soon, and lightly salted my chips when I requested no seasoning.
An impromptu visit and everything as expected, but, on this occasion, the 2 servers were both incredibly helpful and interested in engaging in conversation. I left with a big smile and feeling in a good mood. I'm sure, as a result, the food tasted better!
Their mobile app needs to be updated, as the specials on my phone did not match the ones at the restaurant.
The £26 bucket meal was awful to the point of being almost inedible. I stripped the bones and gave the chicken to our dogs. Next day one dog was so constipated a trip to the vet was necessary. Was this because of the KFC? Only The Colonel can answer that question. Having complained to KFC I was offered a £10 voucher !!! Never again. I hope my dog's ring piece recovers.
