We received a recommendation from local cider makers to visit this restaurant for food and drinks, and we were not disappointed. Was too early for “atmosphere”. Food is nice but very expensive for what you get. £16 for a burger and side?! Hmmm
You would find a better fillet steak, or a pint of fine beers. Their regular gigs 'upstairs ' are definitely looking out for.

Wot A beautiful quirky place the place is decorated in history for all ages it is a,well laid out restaurant with low tables and chairs for the kids beside high for the adults the owner took time to great us and explain the history off the bar the menu was well explained out of were he buys all his local products and prices very good ..I have to say the lemon meringue pie was the best ever cant wait to go back well worth a visit
