The restaurant offers great value for money, delicious food, and authentic flavors. I tried the pad kra pao, satay, and noodles, all of which were well prepared and generously portioned. The pad kra pao was particularly outstanding, with ample chicken and just the right amount of spice. The only disappointment was the bubble tea, as the normal straw made it difficult to enjoy the bubbles. Overall, a satisfying dining... View all feedback.
What Jun G doesn't like about Top Thai:
This review is for their bubble tea drinks only ... I was there yesterday and saw that they have a deal outside with 3 drinks you get 1 free ... they should remove this already if they won't honor it ... went today and my +1 is not free after buying 3 bubble tea. Their boba is also hard. They have a Yelp checkin deal too which they don't honor so better not use that also just a heads up. And make sure to tell them to... View all feedback.
I will not be returning to this restaurant again. There is another Thai place just a block away that I will visit next time I am in the mood for Thai food. I opted for the special which includes one entree, an appetizer, and a drink. While it may seem like a good deal since you get all three items for a slightly lower price than buying them separately, it was not worth it. The portion sizes were smaller than expected, with the appetizer being just half of a normal order. The only saving grace was the complimentary drink. I ended up getting food from elsewhere after leaving this restaurant. In terms of the food itself, the spring rolls were tasteless, the fried veggie dumplings were delicious and crispy, the tofu pad thai was too tangy for my liking, and the chicken green curry was flavorful with tender white meat.
I went for a lunchtime walk and stumbled upon this place while exploring the new Crystal City. The front of the restaurant has a Bistro vibe, with outdoor patio seating and an open front foyer that gives a beachfront store feel. The interior is small, with every inch of space utilized to accommodate customers. Upon entering, there is a short hallway leading to the dining area, passing by a cluttered bar area. The server seated our group of 5 immediately, though the chairs were wobbly, the bathroom was too close to the dining area, and it was freezing inside due to an open window. The food was average and pricier than expected for lunch. As more parties arrived, the space felt cramped and the customer service was lacking. Overall, I likely won't return due to the small, crowded space and lackluster experience.

Ohh my new favorite local spot! I was losing hope about South Arlington food choices (they can be pricey and/or don't taste very good for the price). BUT. I've found just the place to remedy it and it's a 23rd Street classic. This place was great!! I ordered the Top Thai noodle, which was like a less saucy drunken noodle with basil and pork (yum, savory, perfectly chewy noodle). I also got the Cat Fish Pad Ped. Highly recommend this dish if you want something unique! It's so so good!! I got the sauce on the side. It's slightly spicy with eggplant and in it and fried basil leaves. Dip the fried catfish in that spicy goodness and savor all that deliciousness!! Yum. Finished off the meal with perfectly sweet mango and sticky rice. The waitress that we ordered from was also very accommodating and made sure we had everything that we needed on our to go order. I'll be back for sure.

And make sure to tell them to lessen the ice ... all of our drinks is 1/4 drinks and the rest is ice. What a waste of $20+
