I was born and raised in VA and the wharf was the only blue crabs place my family and I have enjoyed going to for 43 years finding quarterdeck was so random as I am an Arlingtonian native best blue crabs ever, fresh, heavy, sweet, and delicious! Ordered the snowcrabs, cold slaw, and mac and cheese. The crabs were old, dry, and the meat was sticking to the shell. The coleslaw was lettuce, carrots, and mayonnaise with no seasoning. My server replace my cold slaw, but there was no compensation for the old crabs at $60 for 2 pounds. As a Louisiana native and personal chef I know how good seafood should be prepared. Love this place! I had the mini crab cakes and cole slaw! They were delicious! The staff was super nice! It is a hop, skip n jump from my daughters, so when I visit, it is my go to place from now on!
My sister came to visit and all we kept saying were these were the best crabs we ever had. The price point was awesome too. We set outside and the weather was perfect. Still shocked they are open to 2am!! Great service and all. Definitely going back!!
The best seafood in the area can be found at this restaurant in Arlington. It's a great place to hang out with wonderful people and I love the atmosphere.
The service was perfect, we hadn’t experienced a crap place before and they gave a great tutorial for our kids. The crab is served on the table to share and was amazing. It was delicious, the sizes available depend on the day but are informed when you sit. I would recommend this place to anyone in the future. Make a reservation or you could be waiting an hour plus. I had the crab cake meal at Quarterdeck, and it was absolutely awesome! The crab cake was everything you want it to be packed with pure, fresh crabmeat and no filler, just rich, savory flavor in every bite. The sides were just as impressive: the corn was sweet and crisp, and the broccoli was perfectly cooked, tender but still fresh and vibrant. Everything tasted like it was made to order.
