What Erich Sutter doesn't like about Oz Restaurant and Bar:
The thing that sets Oz apart is the exotic menu, which is where we ordered from. The Emu was delicious, Kangaroo is tough as expected, an Camel is a fatty, oiling tasting meat. If It wasn 't for the exotic menu this restaurant would be another over priced glorified Mcdonald 's with it 's American Fare that 's parasitic in the DC Metro Area. Every other restaurant is someone shoving meat patties at you and calling it... View all feedback. What OpenTable Diner likes about Oz Restaurant and Bar:

read moreOz, a popular restaurant, recently disappointed a group of diners who had previously enjoyed great experiences there. Loud music, long wait times for food, and poor service left them feeling shocked and let down, particularly when they were charged a mandatory 20% gratuity. Despite the exotic menu offerings, one customer feels that without this unique aspect, Oz would be just another overpriced restaurant in the DC Metro Area. On the other hand, some diners found the food to be tasty and generous in portion size, with particular praise for the ambiance and drinks. Overall, Oz seems to have mixed reviews, with some patrons enjoying live music, bottomless brunch, and a pleasant atmosphere, while others encountered issues with service and loud music.

I would love to, but the restaurant is closed. Its last day of business was on June 30th.
Very nice atmosphere. We were there at 5:30 on Saturday evening. Sample sliders were not good but all other items were VERY good...chimichurri shrimp, mussels,...
