The Ambar is a fun venue just around the corner. The staff and food are fantastic. The noise can be a little intimidating at first, but it quickly becomes part of Ambar's charm. View all feedback.
What Everette Roob doesn't like about Ambar - Arlington:
Quality of most articles we had was moderate. The meatballs were so hard, they could hardly chew them. Clams were the outstanding but really bad food overall. The meat bread was barely edible, while the lamb was much better. Not really sure what the whole hype is. I guess there's everything you can eat. View all feedback.
I got there on the minute and was brought down to my table. I really enjoyed the food there, everything was expedited given the nature of the cuisine and experience. I will certainly be back.
Sunday brunch eating and service was excellent. recommend this place for the large selection of small plates on the menu. the main it area was bright, cheerful and alive. Unfortunately, this is not where we sit. we were the first group to sit in the empty cellar that was initially a little too calm. we plan to come back and hope that we will sit next time in the sunlight dining area.
The evening was good. it started with the waitress to ask us if we wanted a few cocktails from their menu. they were perfect. timing was excellent. then we came to the meal that was delicious. we were very hungry, so we ordered the unlimited dinner. similar to tapas, but balkan. I was not in several years, and noticed that the menu was greatly reduced. we still had a GREAT election.
Food was sparse and mediocre. Service was unfriendly. Not going back.
Great food and service. Our waiter was exceptional; we didn't even select anything from the menu, he picked all the plates for us and they were all very tasty and with a good mix of meat and non-meat dishes.
