Verre Wine - Arlington

Very good wine selection and wine flights with great food such as Charcuterie Boards, delicious flatbreads and elevated sandwiches. Unfortunately they try to press you to do orders by QR codes, but if you ask nicely you can work good service and order directly by the ladies there. With such a competitive environment, why every service business is structurally a way to distance itself from its customers is beyond me. In addition, look for the 10% fair wage fee that 's added surreptitily to your bill. Holiday with mixed feelings on your experience there.

Today stopped for lunch and it was not disappointed! Small, cute place with intimate table settings. Jackie our server was very thorough and patient with us when we chose a bottle, joined the wine membership and ordered food. The Margherita Flatbread and the chicken and brie sandwich were not shown. Both delicious! They have very good choice and Jackie was very knowledgeable and explained everything so well. I will definitely recommend and visit Verre again!

In DC for a quick meeting and we were in Rosslyn and wanted to find a place to get a big glass of wine before we meet friends for dinner. Save the rescue! Verre Wein Bar was just a block of our dinner reservation, so we stopped and we were so happy that we... and it was Happy Hour!! We were warmly welcomed and shown on our table where they explained that they use a QR code menu to order and pay. We have their happy hour menu and ordered a few glasses of wine. Maybe 1 minute later...served! This is a great place where we'll be back. You should. You'll thank me later!

I've gone a million times from Verre and never walked in what a shame. This place is fantastic! It's small, but the food comes fast and the wine comes out even faster. I had the Spice Lineup, which had a very beautiful Argentine Malbec and something Chilean, I would definitely order it again. Food was amazing. There is a fig and bride flat cake with jam that was so unique, sweet and hearty, with perfect crust. We also tried some chic chicken nuggets, I forget what the spin was, but they came with green goddess dressing that was mixed with Jalapeños! I don't like a desert, but everything was so good that I decided to try the chocolate banana bread with ice cream. Great choice! I will certainly be back and will most likely order exactly the same stuff with perhaps an additional glass of red.

Local wine bar with a nice selection of wines and bites! Their happy hour ends at 7pm which is nice for those that work a little later and still want to catch the specials. Recommend their Spanish flight and charcuterie boards. The margherita flatbread was tasty too!
