I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food and service were outstanding. The happy hour specials were also impressive, with half-price drinks, a buy-one-get-one-free appetizer deal, and a complimentary dessert. the waiter we had was so kind and covered. eating was good, but on the pricier side. the only problem was the host. Great place for Monday night salsa! Bartenders are a little surly and seem put off to have to serve drinks, but the crowd is fun for dancing.

Went to this bar for the live music and left because someone didn’t like us. Bar owners son started approaching people randomly and had bouncers kick them out, one of which was a friend of mine. Just felt strange and unsafe. Unfortunate, I really like live music too.
This place literally has the best food ever. Paul is so nice and he treated our group so well. The bar has live music at night so we will definitely be back for that.
The food at the Renegade is SO delicious! We ate some tangy guacamole with chips, juicy harissa chicken that was also cooked Peruvian style, these wonderful steak kabob things, truly mouthwatering jerk chicken, and the gooiest chocolate brownie you've ever seen. You cannot top the quality of this food, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. And it's right by the Clarendon metro station! Definitely give it a try--you will not regret it!
