Still Pond Vineyard Winery - Arlington

When I inquired about his identity, he revealed that he was the owner. Even after we gathered our things quickly and quietly to leave, he felt it was appropriate to confront us while we were paying, insisting on getting the names of the other members of our party so he could call the sheriff. I told him that was unnecessary, and as we exited, he continued to complain about being tired of us. It's truly disappointing that he behaved this way, especially considering the significant amount of money we spent to celebrate our friend's wedding at his establishment. Perhaps he should devote his time and resources to managing the reptiles that were slithering around the property while we strolled near the vineyard. The staff was wonderful, and we tipped accordingly, but the owner left a bitter taste that no amount of sweet wine could fix. I won't be returning.

The owner displayed some very prejudiced behavior. We had been at the winery for about two and a half hours, enjoying the music and games outside. While we encountered no issues while ordering food, the owner unexpectedly came out after we had been there for a while and exclaimed that he could no longer tolerate us, claiming that we were disturbing the peace. It’s important to note that we were the only guests on the terrace during that time. He insisted that we needed to leave, which felt unfair considering we were trying to support his small business by spending money there. This really killed the mood for us, especially since no one had mentioned any issues while we were there, and no one suggested turning down the music. Instead, it was abruptly turned off.

A true gem in the midst of nowhere! The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help. We can’t wait to return!

Incredible place to spend an afternoon. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Fantastic assortment of wines, slushies, and moonshines.
