The Fish could have been seasoned a little (or a lot) more, but a little hot sauce did the trick. The texture of the crust on the fried catfish fillets was the PERFECT CRUNCH. The friend okra was great, and with the addition of some salt and pepper, the cheese grits were really good. When they say NOTHIN FANCY, they MEAN Nothin Fancy, but it's NO DOUBT worth a try!! We arrived with a party of six with two children at 6:40. We were not seated until 7:30, which we did expect. What we didn’t expect was to wait until 8:30 to be served. Get that cake first thing or u miss out on a great dessert
We will definitely be back! I absolutely loved this cute family owned restaurant. I got the boiled shrimp oh my lord with fried okra delicious amazing! My fiancé got the catfish fillets with fried okra it was cooked to perfection. Even ordered a take out order!

Really good catfish and shrimp. The sides are excellent as well.
So we didn’t get to eat here yet but, we stopped when our daughter needed to really go to the bathroom she’s young and the nicest lady let us come in for her to use the restroom! We tried to leave her a tip or anything and she wouldn’t accept anything! We will definitely be driving through here again just to eat here!!!
