What User doesn't like about Screwtop Wine:
The atmosphere is fun and unique, and the staff is incredibly friendly! However, I found the wine selection by the glass to be surprisingly limited for a wine bar. On the bright side, there are plenty of options if you're looking to purchase a bottle. It's a great spot for a large group or a girls' night out. As for the food, it was just average—nothing special. I would come back for a glass of wine, but not specific... View all feedback.
Came with some friends here as this place was very recommended by one of the friends. As someone who is not a drinker, I really enjoyed my experience here. They have a wide selection of wines and give you an authentic European experience with their Italian snacks wine and a decor. The food is also quite delicious. I had a salad and it was pretty much everything I expected. My only disputes are that I wished they had more vegan options and I wish they had a larger room so that the experience does not feel so cramped.
We stopped in the other night to have a quick salad and a glass of wine. Having been there many times before, we are quite fond of the butternut squash salad. We also know that they close at 9 o’clock on a weeknight. When we asked if we could sit at the bar, we were told they are no longer serving food. I looked at my watch and saw that it was 20 minutes after eight. I thought that was plenty of time for two people to share a salad and drink two glasses of wine, but we were told in no uncertain terms, and not very pleasantly, that they have stopped serving food because they are getting ready to close at 9 o’clock. In the restaurant world closing at 9 o’clock usually means serving until 9 o’clock and not locking the door and having everyone gone by 9 o’clock. I can only assume that they were either lazy that night or closing at 9 o’clock is false advertising. Either way, we shall frequent this place much less in the future.
Such a cute spot! It's a little small and kind of crowded, but I liked the vibes. We came on a Sunday afternoon with friends and got some wine flights. I liked all the different options and the one I got (The Francey Pants) was great. My husband also had the grilled cheese sliders with tomato soup. It's not something I would have necessarily picked, but it was sooo good. Especially great on a cold Sunday afternoon. I'd like to go back and try some of their other wine flights for sure.
A small cozy wine bar with a very few tables and some bar seating. I came with a friend on a weekday night with a reservation, and most seats were taken. We came for happy hour so decided to get a pitcher of the cranberry spice sangria. The pitcher was pretty watered down, lots of ice and there was not much spice '; I wouldn 't get it again. I also got a glass of sauvignon blanc which was decent for the price (from the happy hour menu).I usually don 't have high expectations for food at wine bars. I ordered the burrata bruschetta, and cuban sliders. The bruschetta was ok, small and not worth the price, even the happy hour price. The cuban sliders were ok, could be more flavorful.Service was good as servers were attentive. They offer wine flights too.
The seating is tight but the flights are fun and the cheese plate is yummy.
