My fourth visit to Heavy Seas, and I've neve been disappointed. Great beer selecion, and knowledgeable staff. The fish tacos and burgers are awesome. Design and atmosphere of the place is really cool as well. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Heavy Seas Alehouse Va:
as we enjoy beer and also have heavy seas beer before we chose a beer and burger. the beer was great my man liked his cattleburger, but my truthahnburger was dry and came on a soggy roll. And while the waiting staff was friendly, the service was slow. View all feedback.
They should stick to beer. The hostess was more like a bouncer, never smiling and barely saying hello. Waiter was better but not very attentive to the point our drinks showed up halfway through our meal. Meal was lukewarm and lump meat crab cakes were lumpless.
Too noisy, though I think if you're a beer drinker, it's probably a good place to meet with a group of friends
Ahi tuna was excellent. Service was exceptional. A bit noisy, but bar scene was fun.
Extremely accommodating of our large group, great service, and kind enough to do separate checks. I would reserve here again for a group event. And great beer!
Good thing we had reserved a table, because they were very busy. We received a friendly welcome when we got there, and they had our table ready for us. Our server, Gideon, was friendly and attentive.
