Bengali street food, authentic food, misti... Under new management, this restaurant got a new lifeline. Great testing bengali food. If you are craving chotpiti, byriani, fish or any desi food, this is a place to go. What mim doesn't like about Aladdin:
The food here is terrible. They only give you 6 fuchka for $5.00!? They were trying to charge us $8 and we had to tell them. The costumer service is awful they barely have anyone in the front desk. They took so long to make just six fuchka even though we were the only ones in the store. The chef needs training. If you wanna eat something delicious go to charga. The music choice is bad too lol.. We tried their shingara and dal puri. Both were good. I would give 5/5 for dal puri and 4.5 for shing-gara. Chicken biryani is good as well. Just the rice was over boiled. I would give 4/5. Beef tehari is really good, it has aroma of mustard oil. I would give 5/5. Thanks God that I saw the reviews after eating from that place, I might not have gone there if I saw those reviews before. And this was our first time trying there.

I was visiting from NYC and my uncle wanted to show local Bengali options in the area. We ordered fuchka and moglai paratha. First impression wasn't too bad but they were kind of cold. I don't expect the filling to be piping hot but it was too cold. The tamarind chutney was decent. Moglai was also barely warm, the portion was a little letdown. The taste was mediocre, nothing to stand out. I myself didn't order tea but at least others enjoyed their milk tea at the end.
First time trying this restaurant. First of all they should stop taking dine in orders. Small things that can improve customer experience were lacking. For example, serving four portions of food for four people in three plates without an extra plate. No water served on table. And orders take ages. They are probably understaffed and should focus mostly on take outs. Service (2/5) We also ordered take outs. I ordered the kacchi, and it smelled strange/old/rotten. I am also curious why I had chicken pieces in kacchi. Wasn 't it supposed to be goat? Baby goat? I remember asking the person twice while paying if this is what the kacchi is supposed to be like and he was like. yes, we are even giving you an extra egg that we generally don 't provide. (0/5). I paid $17.99 and got a rotten chicken biryani like dish. The polao and roast were decent. I give them that. I wont say it was magical, but it 's a 4/5 for me. We also had daal puris, that were as crunchy and hard as papads. (2/5) Moghlai porota was good. (4/5). Fish 4/5 Overall, I don 't recommend dining in. Both this restaurant and the one next door has serious service issues. They take hours for services. However, in terms of taste and quality I feel Aladdin disappointed me.
This Restaurant is under new management since February, 2022. Despite seeing all the bad reviews, still I thought of trying their Kachhi Biryani as I was really craving for it. Before I ordered the food I spoke to the person who took the order who was praising their Kacchii Biryani, said it test just like Kacchii found in Dhaka. Both the owner and the guy who was working at the register talked very highly about all of their food saying ?food taste nothing like before?. After being impressed by their talk I ordered Kacchii Biryani with some chicken Samosas. They took awfully long time to give my order. Even though Biryani was ready in about 15 minutes but the chicken Samosas took another 20 minutes. Anyhow, I came home with this take out order, after I opened it I was despicably disappointed. Biryani had a strange smell, it was covered with burned onions and burned meats. It neither tasted nor smelled any Biryani forget about Kacchii Biryani. On the top of that, it was overly salty. Next, I tasted Somosas despite of horrible burn look I almost puke. I never tasted such a horrible tasting samosas before even in other poor reviews restaurants. Chicken samosas were not only over fried, but definitely fried in burnt or old oil as it tasted bitter. Meats inside the Somosas had no flavor of spices and tasted so dry. I wish google review had Zero before the stars. I am very disappointed after wasting my money on these trashy food from this restaurant today!
