The service at 15th Eads was fast and the bartenders were friendly. This is one of the better hotel restaurants I have dined in. I typically like to explore the areas I travel to, but I'd be satisfied with staying in the Gateway and eating here rather than exploring Crystal City. View all feedback.
What Jennifer Parker doesn't like about 15th Eads:
This is NOT 4 star food or service. Overpriced underwhelming food. While cooked to the ordered level, the burger is a thin preformed (I assume frozen) patty with no flavor. Fries were fine. Bacon was tasty and crisp. For $16, not worth it at all. The fried chicken my otherhalf got was underwhelming. His comment was Sonic (fast food joint) is better; not something we eat unless on a road trip when that's all that's st... View all feedback.
Food was very good..should expand menu some more healthy options (a lot of fried foods) get more baked/ roasted grilled options. Not enough seats at the bar. Friendly service.
Ordered food to go. They wrapped my pizza in newspaper that stuck to the cheese. Couldn't eat it :
Limited variety and prices above average. There are much better options
Beautifully decorated. Typical hotel style. Experienced this first night for drinks. Our waitress has no idea what a sangria was when asked. She never asked the bartender. I opted for a wine instead. Next night we went for dinner. Service was so slow, had the same waitress and she took foreverrrrr to get us water and a Pepsi. (We asked for a Mountain Dew. She had no idea what that was. Food was so so. Slowwww to get our check. Took forever for us to get out of there. Breakfast the next morning while I didn't expect much, was subpar. Cold. Tasteless. Again took forever to get drinks. And. 24.00 per person for the buffet! Blech. Get better help.
Pricey for the portions. Staff were hit or miss. Ate there several nights. First night our waiter was fantastic, wish I got his name. Next night, waiter was irritable that we walked in 45 minutes before they closed. The last night we were there the waitress was working too many tables and we only saw her when she took our order and brought it to us. If this hadn't been in the hotel and convenient, I wouldn't have eaten there a third night.
