What Edwin Barahona doesn't like about Bamba La:
The pupusas here are decent, but the service leaves much to be desired. They have a card payment fee, and if you ask for a little cream on the side, they want to charge you $2.50 for it! I only keep returning because it's the closest place to my house that serves reasonable pupusas at a fairly acceptable price. View all feedback.
The food is excellent, always prepared when you order it, so it's fresh. The service is friendly, but get ready to wait a bit for your food a bit, they are always busy. The tables and chairs are a bit old, but the food makes up for it.
I've been to various pupusa stands and restaurants, this has been the best so far. It has become my go to spot when I'm craving some pupusas. Remember, pupusas take time. They are made fresh to order. If you're in a rush, call. There is a wait for your food. But it's worth it.
The $1.25 taco was ok. Me and my friend got two beef burritos and a couple drinks for about $30, I thought it was good in the beginning until we started to get hard pieces of cartilage in our food. I didn’t even finish it because It was so disgusting never going back.
Monday through Friday they have cheap and delicious tacos! Definately a gem ?
The chicken soup was disappointing, and the hen served with it was so thin that it hardly had any meat on it.
