My trout with almonds was delicious and my partner enjoyed his prawn dish. Our waitress was pleasant and helpful.
We went to L'Amandier for a meal for my birthday last week and were not disappointed. The food was delicious, plentiful and the owner was very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We had the menu and a carafe of rose plus one dessert and paid Excellent salads to start and lovely tuna with ratatouille as a main. Not sure why the waiter pushed us away from the so called reserved table when it was...clearly not reserved. But we secured a seat outside and enjoyed our meal. Albeit with quite slow service. Would go back and recommend.
After two weeks of French food, we were hankering for something different when we passed by L'Amandier and saw tagine on the menu. I ordered the lamb with prunes version and it was outstanding, one of the best meals we had in our two week...trip. My wife had the goat cheese salad and the magret de canard, which was also very, very good. Wait staff was very good and the house white was delicious!
Found by accident searching for a restaurant open on a Sunday evening. Main course tagine was tasty and a very generous portion. Dessert was disappointing pear tart very dry and hardly any pear content. Service a little slow and haphazard. There are better options...for the price I would say.
