Good pricing and fairly large portions. Appreciated the grilled prawns with Camargue rice. Owner (Kamel) was very friendly and accepted to accept us despite arriving very late (not the case in other restaurants refusing customers after 21h). View all feedback.
What Sarah Z doesn't like about La Pergula:
I was soooo disappointed. This restaurant is listed as 10th best restaurant in Arles? I had the saumon salad, inedible, toast was rick hard, salad not so fresh, very small portion of salmon tartare. Not great vinaigrette. My son had the chèvre salad, a bit better but nothing exceptional. Husband had the Torres’s stew, again ok but not exceptional. Bread was not great either. I just don’t understand the good reviews.... View all feedback.
We had our final dinner here in Arles and are sorry we did not find it sooner. Very warm welcome and cosy restaurant. Very attentive friendly staff who serve with a smile. Food was excellent. We had the half baked camembert to share to start. It arrived on a board surrounded by a generous portion of charcuterie meats...lots for 2 people. Gambas grillé to follow and the burger which was great and had a side of fab sliced chips and salad. The pichet of red was very good. Bit full when it came to dessert but managed some salted caramel creme brulee and ice cream. Great restaurant and super staff. Well done and thank you.
I was looking for a restaurant to eat gardinia de taureau and went to the restaurant because of the good references, but unfortunately cannot recommend it, especially this dish. The meat was very hard and tough. First i thought maybe it 's because of the bulls meat, but I ate the dish in another place again and it was soft and tender as it should be in a stew.
Ok... So we were already liking the out side and then we spotted the menu du jour... Cuisse de canard avec frites e salade for an incredibly respectable price. Four of those please! Delicious. From start to finish. Served quickly and with a smile.Even the coffee was excellent. Couldn't have wanted better.
This restaurant is in high demand, so a reservation might be a good idea.Had the menu du terroir, first tartare de cabillaud, then filet de bar and desert pommes breton style with ice cream.Half a litre of white wine and still a decent price.Good food, nice staff.I recommend this restaurant.
Restaurant already has a good rating at trip advisor so I booked.(if good comments then I can be assured of basic standards)We arrived a bit late to our booking bus was treated with a smile and the great service continued throughout the dinner. Entrances came quickly, I had the cold plate and my friend has the goos liver - fantastic combination with the extras. -5 start for thisCold cut place was also good, interesting ham and Salami, good!Main course from both was beef steak, came cooked as asked and came well presented.one of my best steak in France. Desert; cheese plate - ok for me. Nothing that stop out but I eat cheese all the time. Service: spotless, try 5-star. Food arrived fast and with a warm smile. Properly the best restaurant in town of Arles. Highest recommendation from a picky guest. I will be back
