Bridge Arklow
Description
The restaurant received mixed reviews from customers. Some complained about slow service and greasy food, while others praised the friendly staff and powerful shower in the rooms. The hotel itself was described as charming with a relaxing atmosphere and excellent food. Despite some noise from a generator, guests appreciated the historic charm and welcoming atmosphere of the establishment. The cozy rooms and free parking added to the positive experience. Overall, the traditional Irish pub and hotel in Newport seemed to be a popular spot for visitors to enjoy a meal, drinks, and entertainment.

I can't wait to return. Hotel is perfect , food is gorgeous and the staff are by far the best x
Brilliant place staff and owner so friendly and helpful rooms were clean just small and we had a big case should have taken 2 small cases as stairs is narrow but a lovely homely place to stay very central to everything
Hoey’s Bridge Hotel is a lovely little hotel. We walked in with no booking and walked into the bar asked the girl if there are any spare rooms and she called the manager who came straight away and helped us out and had us in the room within 5 minutes. The beds were very comfortable. There was a tv, a hairdryer, kettle with coffee and tea and milk. Heating was great, it actually got too hot so we opened the window for a little bit and turned the heating down. Breakfast was included so we ventured down at 7.30 and had our order taken and was eating Brekky within 15 mins of hitting the restaurant. Now the only down thing was the bathrooms were small but it didn’t bother us at all. All in all I think this is a great little hotel and prices rather reasonably as well
