We placed our order and while waiting, two of us ordered mushrooms to go w... read more This was my third time having breakfast at this restaurant and I regret it each time. We placed our order and while waiting, two of us ordered mushrooms to go with our breakfast. The mushrooms came out first by themselves and had gotten cold by the time our actual breakfast arrived. We had to wait 35 minutes for our food and had to ask for it. When it finally arrived, it was swimming in grease and there was no toast. Only one piece of toast was brought to the table, so we had to ask for more. The coffee was instant, not brewed. I don't think I'll be coming back here again.

Lovelt breakfast and in general the food was amazing, I highly recomend the chicken stir fry. Staff could not of been more helpfull and the bar itself was brillint, no matter where we went in that area we ended up back here by the end of the night, brilliant live music on the Saturday night. Newport itself was gorgous and this was a great place to stay, thanks to Seamus and all the staff for looking after us. Steven France (part of the Moran stag party)

We walked in with no booking and walked into the bar asked the girl if there are any spare rooms and she called the manager who came straight away and helped us out and had us in the room within 5 minutes. The beds were very comfortable. There was a tv, a hairdryer, kettle with coffee and tea and milk. Heating was great, it actually got too hot so we opened the window for a little bit and turned the heating down. Breakfast was included so we ventured down at 7.30 and had our order taken and was eating Brekky within 15 mins of hitting the restaurant. Now the only down thing was the bathrooms were small but it didn’t bother us at all. All in all I think this is a great little hotel and prices rather reasonably as well
