The restaurant received mixed reviews from customers. Some complained about slow service and greasy food, while others praised the friendly staff and powerful shower in the rooms. The hotel itself was described as charming with a relaxing atmosphere and excellent food. Despite some noise from a generator, guests appreciated the historic charm and welcoming atmosphere of the establishment. The cozy rooms and free parking added to the positive experience. Overall, the traditional Irish pub and hotel in Newport seemed to be a popular spot for visitors to enjoy a meal, drinks, and entertainment.

Was Anonym at Bridge Arklow a mag?
I was advised by a couple friends I made from Arklow that the best place to stay was with Patrick in the Bridge Hotel. Patrick&staff class,my head told me next day that we had a great night and the Locals made us feel like we needed to drink more as Patrick was running out of drinks due to cover&Eu and as for breakfast best I had whilst in Ireland for the week Trust me guy's you will be in me and jenny again soon View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Bridge Arklow:
The hotel is situated in a beautiful spot on the bridge, featuring a nice, cozy bar. However, the staff could be a bit more cheerful and show more enthusiasm for their work. View all feedback.
I did not stay in this hotel because on this rainy Saturday they had no empty bed, but the one nicer man in the reception invites me to publish and gave me a coffee and tried his best to help me find another place when I was on a long bike tour to dublin. I guess.
Best food and hospitality this side east of the Mississippi! And be sure to say hello to the most adorable, affable and charismatic gentleman Mr. Patrick Hoey.
Wasn't here for about 2 years location is on the river the standard has slipped no food here after 7pm
Brilliant place staff and owner so friendly and helpful rooms were clean just small and we had a big case should have taken 2 small cases as stairs is narrow but a lovely homely place to stay very central to everything
Hoey’s Bridge Hotel is a lovely little hotel. We walked in with no booking and walked into the bar asked the girl if there are any spare rooms and she called the manager who came straight away and helped us out and had us in the room within 5 minutes. The beds were very comfortable. There was a tv, a hairdryer, kettle with coffee and tea and milk. Heating was great, it actually got too hot so we opened the window for a little bit and turned the heating down. Breakfast was included so we ventured down at 7.30 and had our order taken and was eating Brekky within 15 mins of hitting the restaurant. Now the only down thing was the bathrooms were small but it didn’t bother us at all. All in all I think this is a great little hotel and prices rather reasonably as well
