La Taverna Armento - Arklow

What an amazing restaurant, not our time to eat here, but each time when it was excells the eating was so delicious. the personal was so attentive and professional. fine eating best!

Very busy, always a good sign. Delicious antipasti sharing plate, very generous part. I had half a roast chicken with pasta as the main course, my companion had Rigatoni with Venison sausage followed by a delicious cannoli for dessert. I think the color scheme is a bit heavy. Will definitely return.

If you are searching for an incredible Italian restaurant in County Wicklow, look no further than La Taverna Armento. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the staff. I was seated at my table and handed a menu, where I placed my drink order - I was thrilled to see they had Peroni Italian beer available. Along with my drink, my server brought out delicious bread for me to enjoy while perusing the menu. I appreciated the ample time I was given to make my selection, as there were many fantastic options to choose from. My meal was exquisite from start to finish, and I highly recommend saving room to try their desserts and coffee. The restaurant was spotless, with clean restrooms, and its location is fantastic. Having lived in the United States for over thirty years and traveled extensively with the Marines, I can confidently say that La Taverna Armento is among the best Italian restaurants I have encountered. I will definitely be returning in the near future - this establishment deserves five stars and more. A must-visit in County Wicklow, Ireland.

Our group of six had our first meal at Strawberry Tree and were blown away by the overall experience. We had high expectations based on recommendations, but the service, food, and atmosphere exceeded them all. As the one who made the reservation, I was delighted with how well the evening went.

I stayed at the Brook Lodge for 2 nights over Easter and was delighted to be able to bring my pet along. The highlight of my stay was dinner on the second night at The Strawberry Fields. It was the best dining experience I've had in a long time, even before the pandemic. The meal was included in the package and it was fabulous - I couldn't fault it. The three courses were delicious and the dessert would have been extra, but we were too full to order it. The restaurant had a faultless, organic menu and was set in a beautiful, old-fashioned luxurious setting. It was simply perfect!
