Shaun and Stephen, the owners, were working the front line tonight while Linda was away. It was great to see them stepping in.

The food is delicious and while the fish chips and steak... read more We spent a month in Blairmore, Dunoon, and had several wonderful meals and evenings at the Strone Inn. The food is delicious and while the fish chips and steak pie are great, they also have many inventive and out-of-the ordinary dishes each week too. Check out the weekly menu on their Facebook page. Plus, it's exactly the kind of place you think of when you want a neighborhood pub. We met many of the locals, enjoyed watching the Six Nations matches, even won at the pub quiz! Highly recommend if you are in the Dunoon area.

The staff made room for us and our dog even though most of the tables were booked. Food was really tasty and the landlord had some good hand pulled ales in. We will definitely visit again if in the area.
