The Electric Bakery - Argyll Bute

For over 30 years coming to Rothsey, I bought every day cake and rolls, but this time was very despised dark haired woman in her 50s served us this time and warns happy because I had asked her to put cake in a box when we took her home, as we always do, but she warns happy when I asked her about a box, and we didn't ask her about a box.

Used to like the place but the past few times I have been served cold to luke warm chips.

The only bakery on Isle of Bute is home to some delicious goods. My guy and I were heading back to Glasgow from a great overnight stay and decided that we were going to give in to temptations and get some baked goods for the ferry right back to the mainland. This bakery kind of reminds me of the McDonald's Bakeries in Glasgow (no association with the burger place) with their chelsea buns, turnovers and sausage rolls. We ended up buying a black pudding and steak pie, a cheese and onion pasty, a macaroon and an apple turnover! Everything we bought was really tasty and was really affordable as well. We did notice that they do have a cafe where you can order all sorts of prepared foods and they also have a small chippy area where you can order a fish supper or chips. The staff here are really friendly and welcoming just like most of the people we encountered on our visit to Bute. We'll definitely be back again!

I was able to order a jubilee cake to be delivered to my elderly relatives on their 60th birthday at Flat 13 Victoria Place, 48 Montague St. I called and spoke with Susan Buckeridge, who was very helpful. Thank you so much!

The restaurant offers excellent delivery service for essential items. Their rolls and hot balls are a must-try.
