What Alan S doesn't like about Taj Mahal:
The curry with chicken was absolutely terrible, as the chicken seemed to be leftover and reheated from a previous dish. The meat was tough, lacking in flavor, and overall disappointing. View all feedback. What User likes about Taj Mahal:
I enjoyed a very nice curry here. I ordered lamm jalfezie with pure rice and garlic naan. the whole food was fresh and delicious. my only grip was the amount of the wobbles in the curry. the meat ratio was weighted in favor of the wobble! View all feedback.

read moreNestled in Oban, the Taj Mahal offers a charming ambiance and friendly service that stands out. Guests have praised the inviting decor, attentive staff, and a varied menu, showcasing dishes like chicken tikka, lamb korma, and flavorful vegetarian options. However, notable disappointments include inconsistency in food quality, with some meals lacking authenticity and freshness. Several patrons reported delays and issues with food temperature, leading to underwhelming dining experiences. Despite these setbacks, many commend the restaurant for its delightful naan and the focus on vegetarian dishes, making it a place worth considering for an Indian meal in Oban.
