I visited Tiree with my girlfriend and her family for the first time, and the 4 day trip could not have ended any better than with Duncan and Polly's hospitalit... read more I visited Tiree with my girlfriend and her family for the first time, and the 4 day trip could not have ended any better than with Duncan and Polly's hospitality. Met with friendly smile when we entered and the taste of Duncan's home-made gin they could not have been more welcoming. We chatted with the host and then before we knew it the food arrived. I ordered the steak, my girlfriend the catch of the day, the vegetarian option and pizza was also ordered. All of it was spectacular. I would have expected the same from a city centre top restaurant and here I was surprised at the quality being offered here. We finished off with a magnificent cheese board and a stunning blue cheese was the star. My first trip to Tiree was probably the first of many and some of that was absolutely down to Ceabhar

Brilliant! We are touring around Tiree for my wife 's birthday. Our visit to Ceabhar has been the crowning glory of a great time on Tiree.Duncan is a great host... read more Brilliant! We are touring around Tiree for my wife 's birthday. Our visit to Ceabhar has been the crowning glory of a great time on Tiree.Duncan is a great host we felt welcome even before we pulled in to the drive with our bikes! He has a friendly manner that more than matches the peaceful setting of Sandaig.The food was excellent, we each had 3 courses and coffee. Brilliant locally sourced ingredients prepared well is very difficult to beat. I had smoked Venison to start followed by Lobster and then Pavlova. With each course our smiles widened to a satisfied grin. This has also been one of the best value meals that I have had for a long time and will be very hard to beat. We will just have to come back.Also please do try Duncan 's excellent micro brew in the words of my father in law it was a damn good pint!

Well prepared and served.A very good selection of beers and Duncan (the owner) is now brewing his own.I 'm never keen on we don 't serve chips here though.
