The food was decent, althoug... read more Trying out Middle Eastern cuisine was a pleasant surprise during our trip in Scotland, with plenty of vegetarian options available. The food was decent, although not exceptional. The falafel, for instance, was a tad dry. The staff were friendly, but they seemed understaffed. We had to flag down our server to place our orders and ask for water refills.

I'm glad they did, because the food and service were outstanding. The halloumi, lamb kebab, and especially the monkfish kebab were delicious. The lemon yogurt cake dessert, which I normally find to be an afterthought, was surprisingly amazing. Even the fruit garnish was ripe and delicious. The friendly and speedy service, along with the delicious food, made our night. Well done to the entire team!

This is definitely our top choice for dining in Oban!

The food is usually delicious, however, the service has recently been disappointing. Some friends have also had similar experiences. It seems like they have new, inexperienced staff who forget dishes and drinks, and when reminded, they bring them over hastily and place them on the table without saying anything. This is not the high-quality service that they strive for.
