There was nothing especially remarkable about this restaurant. The coffee was subpar, but the country sausage was tasty, and I liked the hash browns. They prepared the basted eggs exceptionally well. Overall, it's a dependable place for a meal.
My husband ordered the meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes, and he found it to be excellent. I tried the beef brisket, which was also quite delicious. The staff were extremely friendly, and the service was top-notch. It's a charming little spot conveniently located just off the highway.
I enjoyed the food, particularly the homemade biscuits and gravy. However, the bacon was a bit on the thin side and lacked the perfect crispiness. The server was friendly and attentive, contributing to the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. While the restrooms were small, they were clean, which definitely deserves an extra star in my book!
They have relocated to downtown Argos. I've visited twice and thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast each time. On one visit, I had a piping hot waffle, and on another, I tried a really delicious omelet. I also really like their coffee. The staff is friendly, and this has quickly become my favorite place to eat!
