Visited several times for aperitivi but also recommended for light lunches, particularly tasty salads. Most business conducted on tables outside but inside the bar is a fantastic array of local produce for sale including a superb local Vermentino not available anywhere else.

A light lunch of risotto with zucca, gorgonzola and walnuts for me, Tortelloni stuffed with potato and served with a rich mixed meat ragu for my friend. A glass of white, a glass of red, water, coffees and plenty of change from €50. Lovely ambience, fast, friendly service – the waitress pointed out how cosy and romantic it is in the evening, and we can well believe that! Also, nice tables outside for when the weather’s warmer.

The food was delicious, both for my veggie boyfriend and myself (I had boar ragu pasta which was a killing), and we had bruschette for dessert because why not?! The wine was real good as well. To top it all up, the restaurant looked lovely both inside and out.

Food very tasty but our evening was made by being served by the entertaining David who spoke as much English as we did Italian. Language however is not a barrier when sign language and humour get you through. The caprese salad and all three pasta dishes were excellent. Our friend can recommend the dark coloured grappa to end the meal.
