Quite enjoyed the... read more Many of the world’s most distinguished squares are also homes to tourist traps- not Piazza Grande in Arezzo. What a location and what a food! Quite enjoyed the modern Italian cuisine at this resto. I first stopped for a desert in the evening and then came back with a Mrs for lunch. I had fish for antipasti that was followed by pasta dish combining native produce of the area- pici and truffles, all introduced with grace and knowledge by our knowledgable waiter. Will stop for a dinner next time I’m at the Piazza Grande!

It started out with the chef coming out to help us take the car to a parking lot 10 minutes away- And taking us back at the end of the night, and in the middle we (6) had the most extraordinary meals- pastas and risottos, steak that was huge and delicious, wine and service and a very reasonable price for everything we had! We can’t recommend this place enough! If we could, we would give it more than 5 stars! Bravo!

Moreover, the waitress helped us out as we had lost our wallet and could not pay for the parking. Excellent service!!! After that reassurance the food was even better!

We sat on the terrace and the heaters provided a welcome warmth and the wait staff provided us with the most excellent service. My husband and son shared the truffled tagliatelle. I had the fresh mozzarella and bresaole salad. All was outstanding. We shared a bottle of local Sangiovese wine which was delicious. My son had a huge Tbone that was served with a hot stone to finish cooking it to perfection. My husband had the fillet served with the same method. I had the best risotto i have ever tasted. We finished with cafe macchiatos and were very content with everything. I was worried about not being able to find a restaurant that would be able to accomodate my celiac disease but they were extremely knowledgeable about preventing gluten exposure and i had one of the most incredible gluten free meals! I would highly recommend this for an excellent meal with fabulous service.

The chef is very creative and so is the presentation of the food. The wine list is not extensive but carries excellent Tuscan labels as well as from other regions of Italy. The service is very good. Aurora and the one and only Roberto, helped us with explanations and were kind enough to accommodate our requests. Very reasonably priced for the quality and the service.
