We had lunch here for the first time today, because it's near the Arezzo hospital where we had a visit. It was a pleasant discovery. The atmosphere is typical of Tuscan trattorias, quiet and family-friendly. The very friendly host offers traditional Arezzo dishes (e.g., ragù d'ocio) and Chiarnina (pici, for example), as well as the now rarely found boiled beef, all expertly prepared. The dish that really impressed me, taking me back to the flavors of my childhood, was the skewered liver with turnip tops. Sublime. The desserts and wines are also excellent. We'll be back to try other dishes like the ossobuco, peposo, and more.
Fast lunch post business commitment. Great choice, right prices and good food, the dish that struck me most was a first to pistachio pesto! I hope I'll be back soon.
The restaurant is located in the hospital area, the manager Alessio is a very kind person and has offered us a wide menu, including a free one, a daily fixed price or I would get rid of endless pizzas. We ate duck noodles, gnocchi al ragù. Polenta and second ossobuco, cut and meatballs, all very good I think will be my fixed stage!! !
For years I have been going to this restaurant for the great hospitality of the owner who personally cares for his kitchen with his delicacies and daily news. Every day can offer a vast menu at a very low price, even first, second and contour only € 12 . The service is very efficient and fast. Not to mention the sweets of his production that are exceptional. Ideal for those who want to spend little and eat well.
