Cooked to perfection... read more Decided on the place since our friends raved about it. They were not wrong. We went for the fiorentina Chianina, and wow, was it excellent. Cooked to perfection, and just melted in your mouth. Its priced at €65/kg, but well within market prices. The restaurant itself is spacious, with external patio for the warmer evening. Apart from the fiorentina, it has a vast menu of pasta and other traditional fare. Also caters to pizza lovers. Parking i no problem as its internal parking area is huge.

Our waitress was very helpful , pleasant and efficient, service was excellent, quality of food amazing and prices reasonable, what more could we ask? It was such a nice evening we went back again another evening! On our first visit we both enjoyed delicious Pizzas desserts, but on the 2nd visit we chose local meat selection to share as a starter followed by a Fillet steak and delicious Pasta, local wine accompanied both meals. Would recommend for quality, service, location and price.

You’ve read or seen “Under the Tuscan Sun” and have your heart set on a rustic, local, authentic Tuscan meal. This is the place. A sprawling house on the rural outskirts between Arezzo and Castiglion Fiorentino Antica Pieve is the place you had in mind. There is even an outdoor patio for cool evenings or whenever you’re feeling the Covid era urge to be in fresh air. The owners are warm and welcoming, the setting is spacious and homey, and the food is spot on delicious. No need to look at a wine list as the house wine is just perfect a great, dry red from the local fields. There is a nice variety of pizza on the menu, and the pasta!!! This is the star of the show. I’m not usually a fan of wide noodle pasta but the papardelle with duck sauce was to write home about. I still have happy dreams about it. And don’t miss the side of potatoes. They are light, puffy, crispy, perfectly salted little morsels that make the best fries you have ever had pale in comparison. And the icing on the cake is the price a reasonably priced, perfect meal in an idyllic setting! We went twice in one week and I’d go back today if I could. Don’t miss it!
