Was Anonym at Mandala a mag?
We went twice it was so good. They offer the special of the day that would consist of soup, main dish and a drink. Both days did not disappoint but their soups to me were the winners. The young girl who took care of us...was sweet and attentive always in communication with the woman who prepares the meals in the back. I felt it was homemade which made this cozy place extra special. I wish they had one by me in NYC! View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Mandala:
Had my Peruvian wife and baby diner today. I live in Peru for 12 years and know the prices very well. The man accused us of 18 soups. There were no more than 10 pots of soup per dish. To know that a menu in Peru (Start, Main Course, Dessert) costs about 8 Sol. We feel betrayed and will never return here and will certainly not recommend this place! View all feedback.

Amazing food! Great prices! Authentic Peruvian! Great service. The locals were eating there at lunch time which was a good sign!

We were walking the streets looking for a lunch spot. Didn’t much care what it was- looking for local food. Stumbled in- I try to eat vegetarian but not 100%. Didn’t matter to my dining companion who prefers meat usually. Offered was a three course...lunch menu, a small salad of shredded beets and carrots, followed by a wonderful big bowl of minestrone soup. Delicious and piping hot. Then 4 entrees to choose- one of us had Spaghetti Pesto and the other Fried rice with veggies. We both shared and ate it all!!! Passion fruit juice. Bowl of yogurt to end the meal. Less than 20 Soles all together. Really super price!!!! The place was busy and almost all tables taken when we arrived that drew us in.... must be good? . Great value. Nice people. Vegetarian. Healthy. No complaints.

Very quick and friendly service. The set menu lunch was great small beetroot salad, vegetable soup, bean stew and rice (and some spicy sauce I asked for), a liquid jelly, and a drink all for 9.5 soles! Great to try veggie versions of...local dishes.

Nice food and very nice lemonade. Lots of choice, you need about 10 minutes just to read the menu but it has creative takes on Peruvian dishes as well as other cuisines available. Not the best meal I have had in Peru but certainly not...the worst, I am also biased as a bit of a carnivore. Would recommend to vegeterians and vegans.
