Slyce - Ardsley
Slyce
Description
Nestled within a clean and inviting atmosphere, this restaurant offers a culinary experience that often shines, particularly with its crowd-favorite Margherita Pizza and innovative toppings. Many patrons rave about the fantastic flavors and generous portions, while some lament a decline in service quality, specifically regarding guest interaction and order fulfillment. The once cozy ambiance has shifted to a more artisan aesthetic, leaving some nostalgic diners longing for the past. Despite the inconsistencies in service and dining options, it remains a beloved spot, ideal for those in search of delicious dishes and a casual dining experience.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Food was so so so much better before this place went artisan. Had big comfortable booths with a classic Italian feel to it, giant portions and absolutelydelicious food. Now metal/wooden uncomfortable chairs. I came in once to order a slice and was told they don't do individual slices? What?!??? Such a shame, this place was THE spot when I was growing up.
This charming spot feels more like an upscale bar than a pizza joint. I didn't notice a display case for slices (just a heads up, they keep their slice pizzas next to the oven). I decided to try one of their artisan pizzas along with an order of wings, and both were delightful. The wings had a well-balanced seasoning and came with a delicious hot sauce on the side. The pizza was crispy, flavorful, and definitely something I would order again. As for parking, it’s somewhat limited, but there are plenty of spaces available.
The young guy who took my order seemed disturbed by my presence and kinda made me feel weird. It was my first time here and love trying different slices in the area. The guy takes my order and cash and puts my change on the counter instead of handing it directly to me. And I kindly said as a cashier you should always hand your customers their money. And so he did but I felt shocked that I had to explain his job to him. Other then that the slice was great nice crispy thin crust and good cheese and pepperoni.
I’ve been a regular visitor to this restaurant, and I have to say their platter is the best I’ve ever tried. The service is outstanding as well, mashallah!
I'd rate it among the top three slices of pizza in Westchester that is a great compliment since the other two are past listed as best pizza awards in Westchester severally. More people need to eat from Slyce for Slyce to win greater recognition. I believe Slyce will get there to top pizza in Westchest one day.One Love, move in peace and in ease.
