My mother and I stopped by for a cup of tea and ended up staying for two hours at this beautiful cafe. It also functions as a shop selling handmade coats that are made on site. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The food was excellent, especially the cakes which were absolutely delicious. We can't wait to visit again!

Went with friends and found it a cosy and friendly place. Delicious scones good choice. The lemon scones are lovely fresh and zesty. Coffee good and the offer of coffee top ups just says it all. Staff friendly and I even met the cook who shared her scone recipes.

Usually quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Good food and friendly staff, local newspaper and magazines. Pleasant surrounding with the coats, and other handmade clothes nearby. Wood-stove in winter.

There was no staff available to serve customers at the coffee shop, even though it was open. We waited for 10 minutes to be served, then asked the female staff member if the shop was open. She confirmed that it was open, but when we asked if anyone was serving, she replied that she would be with us shortly. After waiting another 10-15 minutes, we gave up and just bought 2 caramel squares to take away. However, we were charged an elevated price of £2 each for them.

Dropped in for coffee when I was suppose to be Christmas shopping. I have to say, I was very impressed, not only with the shop and cafe, but the staff are really friendly and very welcoming. However, please note that during the months of JANUARY and FEBRUARY the cafe is close, but I think you can see get Tea/Coffee etc, but you would be better to check first to make sure I am correct.
