Terrific food, very well presented, and plenty of it, friendly staff, comfortable seating and lovely decor, very cold water served at table.
Attractive menu with pictures, the food served was better than the photograph. View all feedback.
What Celestine Stoltenberg doesn't like about Pearl Restaurant:
Now, I think this place is not a gourmet food, but very authentic homemade Vietnamese food, the prices are ok, I have chosen the broken rice, but I think there are better options, the personal was nice, so I don't know why the rate she is so low, just don't expect to remember an eating here. My kids love the chicken noodle and spring rolls. Read few comments about bad Customer services but I would have to disagree. The staffs always very nice and helpful. We comes here about once a week and never get disappointed. Good price, good foods and good service!
REVIEW on Pearl Restaurant's 'Pho': Too long us Perth Southies wouldn’t need to cross the other side of the river to indulge on bowl of Pho. To many of us Pho is pure comfort food. Rich in nutrients the beef bone broth is simmered for almost half a day, fresh mint, coriander, bean sprouts lemon and chilies and of course the vermicelli noodles to bring it all together. First and foremost, portion was small. for $14.95 price on a Pho Da Biet, it is definitely the most hefty on my hip pocket for a bowl of Pho I have ever come across in Perth. You could blame it on the premium location being the suburb of Applecross but people are not willing to premium unless they receive premium taste. Have to say, the soup was sweet and light, perhaps a bit too light whereas the noodles and beef were slices were well done. I did however enjoy my meal thanks to the hoisin and siracha chili sauce mixed in the soup. Though can’t say much about the portions and price ratio. Truth be told, for any southie want to enjoy a convenient nearby bowl of pho, there isn’t much of a choice around here. Owing restaurants are risky business these days but it’s only a matter of time another pure Vietnamese restaurant appears in the south that will overcame everything wrong with Pearl VR As a PHO-natic, yes I would come back for another bowl but given the choice, I’d rather head north. onetonneexperience.com
