During a recent ice storm, we visited twice and were impressed that Libby's stayed open despite the challenging road conditions. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, with a simple Southern flair. My favorite dish is the fried catfish plate, which is always cooked to perfection. They offer a variety of daily sides and specials, and my personal favorite is the broccoli casserole. On weekends, they even include a complimentary dessert, usually a type of cake, with your meal. We also enjoy their late breakfast service, which runs until as late as 2 PM. For just $4, you can enjoy a delicious 3-egg omelet with grits and toast or a biscuit. I must say, their bacon is the best I've ever had at a restaurant. The pancakes and hash browns are also wonderful options on the menu.

We've had dinner there a few times and enjoyed the food, but we've noticed that the service tends to be slow. Last weekend, we decided to bring the whole family for breakfast. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a woman who was coughing persistently, which made us worry about the cleanliness of the kitchen. After waiting 45 minutes and hearing the sick woman shouting from the kitchen, we decided to pay for our coffee and look for food elsewhere in Ardmore. After sharing our experience with neighbors, we learned that they had similar negative experiences and don't plan to return. Unless there are some major improvements, we're concerned that Libby's may struggle to succeed in our town.
