OMG, this place was excellent. The service was perfect and the food was even better. The staff was helpful, attentive and friendly, without being intrusive. We loved the Escargot, European bread, salmon and a huge, wonderful Bouillabaisse seafood dish. The dessert menu was a little disappointing as a French restaurant, but our cheese cake selection was wonderful. We're back at any time! View all feedback.
What Mike Dociu doesn't like about A La Maison Bistro:
First of all I had to call the restaurant 5 times before anyone answered the phone. When I arrived the hostess did not seem put together and was very short. We did have a nice French waiter that did give good service, but could of known the menu better. We had soup and escargot. Onion Soup was the best part of the meal. Escargot were rubbery and had no taste. For entrees, the coq au vin was very dry and lacked taste.... View all feedback.
Hands down the best steak frites I've ever had. I'm picky about my steak and it was perfectly prepared. The specials looked great, portions are generous, but not angry. The meerrot scallops special appetizer and French onion soup were fantastic, and the various pate and charcuterie tablets looked amazing. Great, relaxed atmosphere, with excellent, attentive, friendly service. A friend and I kept in a mood, and now we definitely come back and bring friends!
Unbelievable. An evening affair. Not an empty seat in the house, so recommend reservations. Nicely decorated. The Scallop appetizer was decorated with the perfect sauce. The quail was filled with delicious mushrooms and chestnuts and cooked for perfection. The music was a wonderful return flight to a festive evening with friends. Many parking spaces on the back. The service was exceptional and timely. Would be a perfect place for a company dinner. Would you like to see a breakfast added as an alternative local choice.
I'm vegan and they have a delicious beet salad. They also have ratatouille and other salads. I ate something before I arrived that they are a traditional French restaurant, so I wouldn't suffer. It is beautifully decorated, service is near excellent-- The back server served my husband in front of me. (As a former server, I know that the ladies and children are to be served before the Gents. My husband had the sample remover, cattle medallions and brought his own bottle of red. No charge! Our server, Kate, is great! Everyone was friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. We came within an hour before the conclusion, so they no longer have chocolate cake. Next time we'll arrive earlier. However, you must make a reservation. I didn't use the toilet room, so I can't comment on it yet. We will return!

The menu was a bit pricier than expected, but completely worth it. The restaurant is small and welcoming, with a comfortable outdoor area as well. The waitress was kind, came by regularly, and made great suggestions, which we took. Everything we had tasted delicious, including the pâté plate, the escargo, and a mocha cheesecake. I honestly couldn't recommend this place more.
