The next... read more I stayed one night with dinner and breakfast while I was hiking the terraced fields of Valtellina. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The next morning, I had a sandwich made with fresh bread and local products, as they have a shop at the hotel entrance. The room isn't the most modern, but it was comfortable and clean, with a balcony and a spectacular view of the valley and the forest. It's a quiet place, perfect for relaxing. The dinner was excellent and the service was attentive. Breakfast was also good, with very fresh croissants. I really enjoyed my stay.

Simple rooms with all the essentials, but the real gem is the restaurant. The food is truly excellent: 2 appetizers, 2 first courses, 1 second course, and 1 dessert with half a liter of wine for €74. Everything is plentiful and freshly cooked. Excellent location for visiting all the surrounding valleys. First time visiting Val di Mello, but the owner has already recommended other things to see, so we'll definitely be back!

We had plans to take the Bernina Express the following day, and they prepared breakfast for us earlier than scheduled. The food was delicious, and the view from the rooms was breathtaking. This is my second stay, and I'll definitely be back again.
