Pomodoros Greek Italian Cafe-south

Everything we tried was amazing. We began with a special appetizer of mussels served in a light lemon cream sauce with tomatoes and feta. We even used the empty mussel shells to savor the delicious sauce! I ordered the moussaka, which was some of the best I've had in a long time. My husband had the mushroom ravioli in a rosemary cream sauce, and it was both delicious and perfectly cooked! Make sure you don’t skip dessert; we shared the restaurant's signature baklava crème brûlée. It’s exactly what it sounds like, but keep in mind that the baklava is cold and soft from sitting with the chilled cream.

I usually steer clear of chain restaurants, but for those who enjoy them, this food might be adequate or even decent. Unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed and ended up discarding most of my meal because it was terrible. It had the flavor of canned pasta with a lot of artificial ingredients mixed in, and the chicken was overcooked and tough. My daughter remarked, "I think we're both going to feel sick later." We won't be returning!

Incredible Greek cuisine! I drove an hour and a half to take my girlfriend to celebrate our 4th anniversary dinner. We’re definitely planning to bring our kids next time!

Pomodoro's has been great every time for for us, and today was even better than expected. BILLY S is the best server we've had there, and that's saying something. Gyro, salad, pizza, chicken pasta, tiramisu, cannoli were all generous sizes and most excellent. Great beers, though it is more of a wine place. Love this place.

Our meal began with a delightful bread accompanied by olive oil and herbs. The ingredients in my Greek salad were perfectly balanced, hitting just the right notes for a traditional Greek salad. It was absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed his Lamb Gyro and salad, claiming they were both fantastic. The lamb was tender, and the wrap and its fillings were very flavorful—he said it was the best gyro he’s had since visiting Greece. The service was impeccable as well. Thank you, Tim!
