My first time there. It was wonderful! A new 1920's town with a free train ride. Farm animals. Glass blowing, broom making, pottery, weaving and soo much more. And this week a rug hooking exhibit. View all feedback.
I can't say enough how great this campsite is... everything is within walking distance. We were right across the spray coating my children loved. The campsite is busy. The locations are large and the new section is all full hooks. The village was much bigger than we thought and it surprised us. We will definitely come back here
Great experience again, so much has been added since our last visit sevral years ago and has so much to offer the whole family.
We sit in the Pharmacy and Soda Fountain and share a hot cocoa. It's snowing earlier, but it's just ice-cold rain. That was really good tonight. We took a free horse carriage ride, which was a better choice compared to the very cold metal seats of the train. That was an excellent trip tonight. We'll be back in warmer weather. Great for the whole family. You even have wheelchairs that you can borrow, as well as golf carts that are people on the 1920s Main St we are now.
Historical Sauder Village located in Archbold Ohio takes you back to the time Northwestern Ohio was settled. There are many time period displays with folks on hand to demonstrate and answer questions about the area’s origins along with the skills required to live in the 1800’s. The mill in the photograph is functional and provides product for sale and use in the village. If you’d like an overnight trip, there’s an inn along with restaurant and delicious bakery nearby.
