Uncle Tetsu’s cheesecakes are incredible, and at a great price. $12 gets you dessert for at least 4 people, or you can do what I do and take some home; it reheats amazingly in the microwave for days afterwards. Also, the mini cheese tarts are burstingwith flavor and worth adding on to have something to snack on if you’re saving the cheesecake for later.
This was my first time trying Japanese cheesecake, and it's like a delightful combination of angel food cake, classic East Coast cheesecake, and a pancake. It's fluffy, light, and perfectly sweet!
Uncle Tetsu's cheesecakes are truly fantastic and very affordable. For only $12, you can enjoy a dessert that can easily serve four people. I personally enjoy taking some home; it reheats wonderfully in the microwave for days. Moreover, the mini cheese tarts are packed with flavor and definitely worth trying as a delicious snack while you save the cheesecake for later.
JIGGLY! CHEESECAKE! What more could you want? Uncle Tetsu’s is absolutely delicious, and I always make sure to order at least 10 cakes to take home as gifts for my family. The texture is like a souffle—light and airy—but it’s firm enough not to crumble when you slice into it. The sweetness is just right, balanced by a hint of egginess that adds a subtle savory note. I've also tried all their special flavors, and they’re just as amazing as the original!
This was my first encounter with Japanese cheesecake, and I was genuinely impressed. The texture is reminiscent of an incredibly smooth and airy pound cake, featuring a subtle cream cheese aftertaste, which is quite different from the denser custard-like consistency of Western cheesecakes. Since it contains cream cheese, it does need to be refrigerated. Priced at $12, it’s a fantastic deal, and you can easily cut it into four to six slices, depending on your group size. They provide options for in-person ordering as well as next-day online pickup via their website. I can’t wait to sample their other flavors! The shop is conveniently located next to Din Tai Fung in the Westfield Arcadia Mall.
