I am no avid fan of sushi; I typically avoid Asian cuisine. However, my friends wanted to try sushi while we were in LA so I volunteered to go. Based off their reactions, I would say the sushi was pretty good here. I enjoyed the hurricane roll pictured here. It was so crunchy and the sauces were great.
I loved how their sushi has half the rice than most other place. Allows you to really taste and appreciate the fish and not be too full, so you can try more! Warning: Dishes are smaller than they look in the pictures. Not too impressed with sweet shrimp though. After having one that was still kicking at a different restaurant, nothing can beat that.
I absolutely love this restaurant! The sushi is fantastic, the sake is excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I highly recommend Opus Sushi to anyone craving sushi. The customer service is friendly and welcoming as well. My personal favorites are the Unagi and the Crunchy Roll.
I accidentally left my felt hat behind and I will come to retrieve it. As two priests, we had a wonderful time on Saturday. This is a great spot for sushi. We ordered sushi bowls and a white dragon roll, and we finished with the roll, which felt almost like a dessert at the end of our meal!
